We're looking for a General Manager, Commercial & Alliances to join our founding team at a pivotal stage — to lead how we build, structure and scale our commercial operations.

This is a senior mandate with real ownership. The role will:
• Define and execute commercial strategy
• Originate and structure strategic partnerships
• Build alliance capability from first principles
• Be a core member of the leadership team, shaping company direction

We’re seeking someone commercially rigorous, experienced in building partnerships and comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment.
 

Opportunity: General Manager, Commercial & Alliances at NíoSync (04 March, 2026)

 

NíoSync is a scalable European commercial platform built to acquire, launch and optimise specialty pharmaceutical products. We are lean by design, non-hierarchical and built to execute at scale by leveraging strategic partners rather than heavy internal infrastructure.

We’re now looking for a [Director/General Manager], Commercial & Alliances to join our founding team and build our commercial engine.

The Mission: As one of our first hires, you will lead the commercial strategy for our first product acquisition across Europe, the US and other key international markets.

 

Your Impact:

🌍   Full Commercial Ownership: Assume end-to-end P&L accountability for NíoSync’s first acquisition, defining revenue ambition, margin structure, pricing architecture and long-term value creation strategy across Europe, the US and selected international markets.

🏗️   Design the Commercial Engine: Architect and implement a scalable, multi-market commercial framework, including route-to-market strategy, distributor governance, performance metrics, forecasting discipline and capital allocation models, built to support future portfolio expansion.

🤝   Strategic Alliance Governance: Establish and lead high value external partnerships (distribution, licensing, co-promotion and operational partners), implementing robust performance management, contractual governance and joint business planning frameworks.

🚀  Market Access & Launch Excellence: Lead cross-functional commercial readiness across regulatory, supply, medical and finance stakeholders to ensure compliant, profitable and scalable product launches.

💡   Enterprise Contribution: Act as a founding commercial leader, shaping corporate strategy, investment prioritisation and organisational culture in partnership with the managing directors and Board.

 

Who You Are:

  • A senior commercial leader (15+ years) with significant P&L ownership in regulated healthcare, specialty pharma or OTC markets, ideally across multiple European markets.

  • Proven experience building and scaling commercial organisations, including route-to-market design, distributor governance and cross-border execution.

  • Demonstrated success leading strategic partnerships and complex negotiations with distributors, healthcare stakeholders and executive level counterparts.

  • A leader who has operated at executive or country leadership team level, comfortable contributing to enterprise strategy and board-level discussions.

  • Strong track record of delivering profitable growth within regulated environments, balancing compliance, medical governance and commercial ambition.

  • Entrepreneurial by mindset: high ownership, low ego, comfortable operating in lean, high-accountability environments.

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline; advanced executive education advantageous.
